I would have said something along the lines of, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry... rappers get away with saying far worse and that's really not good... I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I"m sorry."
It's terrible that rap music creates such negative stereotypes and role models in the black community, and it's hypocritical for these same artists to parade around in mock offense of what Don Imus said. On the other hand, if these artists really were offended, then they have an even bigger problem. And to leaders like Al Sharpton, if only you could focus as much of your time on cleaning up the roots of hateful speach like this...
Argh. The whole thing just pisses me off.
